Salads are known to be healthy but not that tasty but this is definitely not the case as you can create endless possibilities with ingredients of your choice. There are so many varieties of salads to try like fruit salads or leafy salads that taste really good along with the benefit of being quite healthy. I love trying different combinations of ingredients in salads and have found that my favourite salad at the moment is a beetroot and feta salad. I really like how the multiple textures and flavours work well together and these ingredients are so simple to buy and prepare for this salad. – 150g feta
– 400g beetroot
– 120g salad mix
– handful of walnuts
1. Begin by washing the salad mix (unless the packaging states that it has already been washed) and place in a salad bowl.
2. Cut the feta into about 1cm cubes and place on top of the salad mix in the bowl.
3. Slice the beetroot into small pieces, the size depends on your preference and put into the salad bowl.
4. Sprinkle the walnuts on top and mix thoroughly.
